One-on-One Therapy
Life can be hard, and we all deserve support.
Individual therapy offers a private, one-on-one setting where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, validating, empathetic setting.
If you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can support you in getting to a place where you feel more at ease and resilient.
What to Expect
Our sessions are designed around you and your needs. I take an eclectic approach and invite you to notice what your body is telling you. I’ll draw from various therapeutic techniques to find what works best for you—whether that’s talk therapy, body-awareness techniques, or trauma-focused interventions.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, and you have the option to chose extended sessions or intensives if that feels right. We’ll work at your pace, focusing on your goals, your sense of safety, and what feels right in the moment for where you are in your work.
This is a space where you can come as you are, and together, we’ll figure out what steps feel right to take next.
Specializations
While I work with a wide range of concerns, here are three areas where I’ve developed specialized training and experience:
Trying to conceive, coping with loss, and adjusting to pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood are times of major transition. You might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or just not like yourself. I’m certified in perinatal mental health and can help you navigate this complex time, providing support for everything from family planning decisions to postpartum mood changes to birth trauma.
Trauma can leave deep marks on both the body and mind. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or constantly on edge. With specialized training in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR, I focus on helping your nervous system settle, process difficult experiences, and restore a sense of safety and control.
Constant worry or intrusive thoughts can be exhausting, making it difficult to focus or enjoy life. I use a combination of cognitive strategies and body-based approaches to help calm the mind, break out of unhelpful patterns, and create space for relief.
Why Work with Me?
I’ve been in your shoes—looking for support, feeling unsure about the process. That’s why I approach therapy with a mix of empathy, lived experience, and specialized training.
My goal is to meet you where you are, without any pressure or expectation, and help you find what works for you. We’ll take things one step at a time, at your pace.
